WejaCBO members are champions of the Coast Regional Budget Hub (CRBH) with an aim of improving service delivery within Kilifi County. Comprising budget coordinators, facilitators, and community budget champions, the CRBH actively engages in budget advocacy, capacity building, and training activities within the Coastal counties, namely Mombasa, Kwale, Kilifi, Lamu, Taita-Taveta, and Tana River Counties. CRBH aims to strengthen the budgeting process and empower communities in the region.
The CRBH serves as a platform for civic engagement, bringing together stakeholders at the Local Empowerment for Good Governance (LENGGO) under the support and guidance of the International Budget Partnership Kenya (IBP Kenya). Dedicated to promoting transparency, accountability, participation, and equity in national and county budgeting processes, the IBP Kenya operates as a non-profit organization based in Kenya. Their mission revolves around enhancing the influence of civil society advocacy and citizens in shaping budget policies and outcomes at both the national and county levels of governance in Kenya.
